If you go to options > gameplay there is a box checked that says "attack move cursor" uncheck it and it should be back to normal. Patch 5.9 they made a change to attack move click with a new option that comes AUTOMATICALLY TURNED ON so some of you (like myself) may have completely missed this. So after reading through the comments, this is intentional. ĮDIT: Apparently the issue is not with "Player Attack Move Click" but according to /u/Virne1 it has something to do with inputting commands.

Seems like 1/5 to 1/6 "attack move clicks" does not stop your character to auto, they will continue walking until they get to the point you clicked. I went into a custom tonight and tested it out. After constantly fumbling my ADC kiting, I knew it couldn't just be me.
